 Amity Health's Occupational Therapist (OT) can assist both adults and children.

For Children

Darcy Ward, Occupational Therapist can assess and manage the needs of children experiencing difficulties with:

* fine and gross motor co-ordination* sensory processing and regulation* attention and concentration* visual processing* play and social skills

* handwriting and other education/classroom activities (drawing, cutting, puzzles)

* self care skills such as dressing, meal times, brushing teeth etc. 

Services for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Amity Health is a registered provider of Helping Children with Autism and Better Start. Occupational Therapist, Darcy Ward, can assess and provide ongoing management for your child using Helping Children with Autism or Better Start funding packages. 

Our Speech Pathologist, Jackie Jenkins, has extensive experience in providing paediatric services and can act as a panel member for assessment of ASD, as well as a provider of services.

For Adults

Amity Health's Occupational Therapy (OT) service can provide a range of services for adults in the community and in aged care facilities.

* Helping clients regain or enhance their skills after events such as hip replacement, stroke or injury.

* Assisting clients to access adaptive equipment and educating them in its use.
