SPEECH PATHOLOGY SERVICES
Our Speech Pathologist Alanna, can provide a range of services for adults in the community and in aged care facilities with communication and swallowing difficulties including:
Assessment and diagnosis of communication and swallow difficulties including rehabilitation services that are tailored to individual needs.
Advice on the use of compensatory strategies, including the use of alternative and assistive technology (e.g. communication boards, electronic voice output devices, voice amplifiers).
Education to patients, family members and care staff working with the person with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
Amity Health is a registered NDIS provider.
Self-referrals are accepted however if you are living with a chronic condition, we suggest you discuss this with your GP as you may be entitled to claim the Medicare rebate under a chronic disease management plan and/or a team care plan. Under these plans, if you are eligible, you can receive up to 5 visits within a calendar year.
