I’M A PARENT NEEDING INFORMATION ON…
DISABILITY SERVICES
If you are a parent or carer of a child living with a disability, Amity Health may be able to help.
If your child has a disability that reduces their capacity to communicate, interact, learn or move about, with a referral from your doctor or health practitioner, we have trained specialists that can help you to find the right aids or services to manage and overcome the challenges that you and your child may face.
We can provide a range of allied health services to assist you to help maximise your child's potential. We offer predominantly clinic-based appointments for assessment and ongoing treatment, with occasional home/school visits when appropriate. Telehealth is also available as an appointment option.
Whether your child's needs relate to assistance with communication, movement, sensory abilities, activities of daily life or memory/thinking skills, contact us to discuss how we can help. If your child has a mobility impairment that requires you to use a wheelchair, our Albany based clinic now has wheelchair scales.
